The Flight

To fly from Singapore to Berlin, the length of flight is about 13 hours. We took Qartar Airways, "the 5 stars airline". Heh. In case you have no idea which airline is that, check it out on CNA Primetime Morning.

Our flight took off at 7.05 am from Changi Airport T1 and the first leg of the flight, from Singapore to Doha, took approximately 6 hours. The 6 hours flight was really torturous. Firstly. this "5 stars airline" did not have individual inflight entertainment but a shared one which displayed shows we never seen before (and not interested in). So, we decided to catch some sleep on the plane. Just as we were trying very hard to sleep, there came the noise of 3 overly excited kids sitting right in front of us! Instead of hushing and pampering the kids to sleep, the parents fell asleep first. The mum spread herself comfortably across 4 seats and doze off while the kids surrounded the dad, playing with his eyes mask. So in the end, we only slept for 2 hours effectively.

Of course! How can I dont mention about the food? We were "well-fed" with 2 meals on each leg - one main course served at the beginning of the flight and 1 light meal served usually 1-2 hours prior to landing. Before serving the meal, the air stewardess provided each of us with a menu to inform us on the type of main course offered, typically about 3 kinds to choose from. Following which, they would provide us with hot towel to refresh ourselves and clean our hands. The meal served were pretty satisfying. Yummy!
